To explore one of the oldest mediums through a modern lens, I utilized robotic 3D printing and custom G-codes to create 3D clay forms from 2D linework.
3D forms are created with
a single, unbroken line rather
than a 3D surface.
This technique allows for a variety of unique effects, including
3D textures and 2D patterns draped over 3D forms.
